Economics Unit

The Economics Unit is committed to equipping students with the tools for theoretical and applied analyses in Economics.  The Unit offers economics courses for students in the BA with Education degree programme.

At the undergraduate level, we offer a standard sequence of introductory courses as well as a wide range of upper-level courses to prepare students for positions in the private sector, government, or postgraduate studies. 

 

Careers for Economics Graduates

Common career paths for economic graduates include working as an economist, financial risk analyst, data analyst, financial planner, accountant, economic researcher, financial consultant, investment analyst, public sector roles, secondary school teacher.
